Indoor Tanning vs. Spray TanningThere are some big differences between spray tanning and UV tanning. Ultimitely, we believe the choice is yours! - Spray tans provide same day results, where as tanning beds need continuous use as melanin increases. - Spray tans have no inherent risks, such as skin damage. - UV tanning can damage the skin if not properly protected and maintained with lotions and moisturizers. - UV tanning does offer additional health benefits. - UV tanning will last much longer than a spray tan, which averages 5-7 days before fading.

How to prepare for and care for your spay tanSKIN PREP - this is the most important step! How you prep your skin for your tan absolutely effects how your tan will turn out. 1 - Get any waxing and nails done 1-2 days before your appointment. 2 - Shave and exfoliate your skin the night before your tan. Use any oil-free scrub to exfoliate - we recommend HEMPZ! You can also use a loofah or exfoliating mit. Please do not use any oil based products. We always recommend avoiding Dove, Aveeno and Olay products. 3 - Make sure you remove any deodorant, perfumes, lotions, or shampoo and conditioner. 4 - Do not wear deodorant, lotions, makeup or perfumes the day of your appointment. 5 - Wear loose fitting clothes home from your tan! You may be sprayed naked or wear undergarments such as a bra, underwear, or swim suit. If it's raining, please be prepared with an umbrella and closed toed shoes. POST CARE 1 - Wait a minimum of 8 hours before showering off your tan. (2-4 hours if you choose a rapid spray tan) 2 - Your first shower should be a quick rinse to get off all the bronzer. Glide your hand all over your brody to brush off the top bronzer layer. Pat dry after the show, no vigorous rubbing. 3 - Do not exfoliate with loofahs, scrubs, or mits until your tan is starting to fade. 4 - Do not use scented body washes. We offer body wash and tanning extenders to prolong your tan. 5 - If you opted for a rapid tan, remember you will not be tan immediately after your shower! The tan will continue to develop for 24 hours post shower.

How long will my spray tan last?In general, about 7 days. However your tan may last longer with proper preperation and aftercare!
-
When should I get sprayed if I have an event on Saturday?Ideally, Thursday to ensure your tan is as desired! We suggest getting your spray tan 1-2 days before your event.
-
"I'm pregnant, can I get a spray tan?"Yes! Feel free to check with your physician first to make sure you're totally comfortable! We always suggest pasties for anyone currently nursing.
-
What kind of wax do you use?We use a synthetic polymer hard wax! This wax adheres only to the hair, and not the skin making it a less painful alternative to traditional soft wax. It's formulated for sensitive skin, is hypoallergenic, gyno and dermatologist approved, and cruelty free!
-
How often do you recommend waxing?Hair growth cycles are typically every 4-6 weeks! We recommend scheduling appointments every 4 weeks if you're new to waxing, and as the hair growth slows down you can extend that further out to 6 weeks!
-
How should I care for my skin after a wax?We recommend keeping the waxed area moisturized, and exfoliated! Exfoliating will help the new hair growth come in while avoiding ingrown hairs. Moisturizing the skin will soften it, which also helps avoid in growns. Ask your waxer about our preferred retail products!

How long do eyelash extensions last?Eyelash Extensions are attached to your natural lashes using a medical grade adhesive. Your eyelashes are on a hair growth cycle, similar to the hair on your head. Each cycle is about 4-6 weeks, meaning in 2 or 3 weeks, you will have about 50% of your lashes shed, and will need to come in for a refill so we can place new extensions on your new natural lashes.
-
How long is the appointment? We schedule 2.5 hours for a full set of lashes. Refills are an hour and 15 minutes. This varies a bit depending on how many natural lashes each client has!
-
What are the eyelashes made of?We use eyelashes that are faux mink! They are made of unique synthetic fibers, which makes them soft and natural looking without having to use any animal product! Eyelash Extensions can be considered vegan and none of the products we use have been tested on animals!
-
How do you take care of eyelash extensions?Aftercare for eyelash extensions is pretty simple! We recommend using a extension-safe lash cleanser once a day! You can grab one from your lash artist at the salon. This ensures theres no build up of oils, dead skin, or makeup on your eyelashes and will help them to last longer! In addition, you want to avoid using any products with oils in them, so no mascara (which you won't need anyway!) and be careful with eye creams and moisturizers!
-
Does it take time to adjust to having eyelash extensions? Most people just need a day or two to adjust! The biggest change for most people is not being able to rub their eyes, however they feel very natural and you'll probably forget they're there!
-
What if I have an allergic reaction? If you're new to getting eyelash extensions and tend to have sensitivities to other products, we can do a test patch before lashing your whole eye! It will be a quick 15 minute appointment and you can come in for a full set in 1-2 days if everything is okay! If you do have an allergic reaction, we recommend going to see an eye doctor! They can give you more details on what to do, and if they recommend removing the lashes, we can safely remove them for you at the salon!
-
How does a lash lift work?A Lash lift is essentially like a perm for your eyelashes! The process changes the chemical composition of the hair, allowing us to curl it and then set that curl in place. The process takes about 45 minutes and will last 6-7 weeks. An eyebrow lamination is the same concept and process, however instead of curling the lashes, we are "straightening" and relaxing them.
